for fun, a couple of months ago, i started making clippies! i was going to post them on etsy, but decided to post them on my blog. don't see anything you like? stay posted, i'll be uploading more.

ladybugs, apples, and butterflies can be put on either alligator clips or snap clips. they're hand-sewn and no glue used! $4.00 each

nom nom nom

this past weekend (passed? no... past) i wanted to cook some korean food

so i julienned some carrots (by hand, which is why some are thick and some are thin), sliced some onions, diced green onions, and minced garlic... (can you guess what i'm making?)

in a separate bowl, i mixed soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, black pepper, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes... (have u guessed yet?)

i poured the marinade into a large tupperware, and added the garlic and some pureed apple. when the sugar dissolved, i added the vegetables and meat and let it sit in the fridge for an hour.

actually, i got impatient and let it sit for 45 minutes. next, it was cooked in a pan and extra green onions and sesame seeds were sprinkled on top. i also added black pepper for taste... =)

this, is a different story which i do not feel like explaining. why, you ask? because the korean market was out of many of the ingredients i wanted to make this. so i resorted to *gasp* a kit!
but i added vegetables to make myself feel better.

normally there would also be odeng... and i definitely would not use a kit!

forgot to include the measurements:
about 1 lb rib eye (sliced really thin)
1 small carrot (julienned)
1 small onion (chopped into slivers)
3-4 cloves of garlic (diced)
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 green onion (diced)
freshly ground black pepper
red pepper flakes

there and back again...

some of these pictures are a couple of months old... but oh well.

andrew and i took c to ca adventure a couple of months ago:

as you can see, he's REALLY happy to take a picture with his ONE AND ONLY (blood-related) aunt!

at first he was really hesitant to play in the water, but then he got really into it.

this was for liz's bday a couple of months ago. the lighting was weird, so i edited it weird too! =) p.s. where are we all looking?

for memorial day weekend, andrew and i went to the huntington library:

it was REALLY bright that day, hence the crazy shadows and lighting.

a day at the park with mr. park

andrew and i went to the park today and i took my camera along...

i really wanted to get a picture of the tennis court. but i didn't know how to get in... thus, the chain link fence. =(

andrew got attacked by pinecones.

then we went to mars

and neptune

then i threw a tennis ball but that was after i acquired one albino leg and one tan leg...

then i jumped in the air, my eyes got chinky, and my hand got cut off.

then i took pictures of some breakers... (is that what you call them?)




then andrew started charging...

and flying...


and... ???
