madeleine
some ppl take pictures of buildings. others take pictures of their kids. still others take pictures of nature. i like to take pictures of my dog.
i was making the WEIRDEST noises and sounds to get her to focus on the camera. i guess they were a little too weird bc she gave me this... eh??? look.
i've discovered that madeleine smiles. it's amazing what u notice through a lens that you wouldn't in everyday life.
take one. no smile....
there! do you see it? it's slight... but it's there. am i crazy? i'm crazy arent i?
didn't see it the first time? i will POINT to it.
here it is again. the "dog smile"
wearing the cone of shame... she kept scratching her face and gave herself a hot spot.

i hate pigeons. and most birds for that matter, but for some reason it was exciting to see... "wildlife".

cherry pickin'
we went cherry picking this past weekend...

mini gardening...
andrew and i planted some seeds a couple of weeks ago... and they've been growing!
here is purpley. we dunno what kind of plant she is, i just dumped a handful of mixed seeds into this pot, and out sprouted these two. =) i know, the color and exposure are way off, but this was the most decent one i could use of all the pictures i took of purpley.
i was a little disappointed when i saw this picture. if i had just moved the frame down just a teensy bit, it would've been an awesome picture. but, i cut off the end of the pot. poop.
here are the twins. they've really got their own personality. i like to think of the one on the left as being shy... and the one on the right as very outgoing. (they are benny&joon)
this is andrew's sensitive plant. i barely touch it and it droops. here it is, sad because i sprayed it with water. i was just trying to help, GOSH!
i am saving up for a 50mm fixed f/1.4 lens. =)

Long Time No Update...
Yeah, yeah... I haven't updated in a while. But just haven't gotten around to it, I guess. Although, I don't think many people read this anyway.
Fashion Island. I accidentally left the shutter open for too long. But I love the picture, so I just fiddled around with it and attempted to make it look like I did it on purpose... ha. I don't think I succeeded.
